We are delighted to be able to say that the building work for PHASE ONE has begun. Batchelors Builders, a local Rugby firm began on site week beginning 23rd Oct. The work is scheduled to finish by mid February 2018.
PHASE ONE will give us a single story extension on to the side of church that is furthest from St Peter's Road, just in front of the present kitchen. Inside this extension there will be three new toilets and an small community room. This is essential ground work because we cannot do anything to the bricked up front door whilst the toilets are situated in the porch behind the door. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to help us get this far, THANK YOU! However we continue fund-raising for PHASE TWO and beyond: the next step would be the internal rearrangements: creating a door between the church and the church hall in the centre of the room and blocking off the far door into church from the hall making it a storage cupboard. Also rearranging one of the current cupboards into a new room that could house the AV for both the church and the hall. Whilst this is going on we continue to see if we can attract funding from donors to help us re-open the bricked up front door and install a lift to make the small chapel at the back of the upstairs into a second large community space. Please consider donating or remembering us in your will. There is a button at the side of this page which will allow you to donate on line or contact us if you would prefer to donate by BACS or cheque and we will send you the details.
