Well done and thank you to everyone who came out to help with the Save the Bees event. Great teamwork between local residents, people from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Benn's Friends and our own PJ Veg Beds group. Well done Angela for organising us. About 10-12 patches of wildflowers seeds were planted at the end of the old railway line on the open ground where it meets Abbey Street. Children and families from St Andrew's Benn school walk past the site regularly so hopefully both wildlife and wonderful people will all benefit from the beauty and colour.

A wide range of foods grown from the ground is pollinated by bumblebees, for example, broccoli and squash, apples and almonds. Fertilization is not quite recently imperative for the nourishment we eat straightforwardly, it's indispensable for the rummaging crops, for example, field beans and clover, used to bolster the domesticated animals we rely upon for meat. Having this venture will help spare the honey bees. Much obliged to you for imparting this to us.
