25 years of St Peter and St John's being St Peter and St John's

5/9/2017

On Sunday June 25th we shall be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of St Peter's and St John's as one church. Although this is an anniversary of the closure of one church building (St John's in Cambridge Street) it is also the anniversary of the coming together of two congregations to make one combined church in the church building that had solely been known as St Peter's.

The actual anniversary is Weds 28th June but on Sunday 25th we will hold a celebration service to which we are inviting many old friends who have been part of this church's journey over the years. After the service of Holy Communion at 10.30am there will be a bring and share lunch in the church hall.

Please keep this date in your diary and do come along to help us celebrate and give thanks to God for his faithfulness to us in the past as well as commit ourselves afresh to his calling of us into the future he has planned.
