A fast-paced, interactive exploration of the Christian faith.
In six lively sessions we look at: LIFE -what it all about and where are we going? GOD-does he exist, if so, what is he like? MESS -why is the world, and all of us, so messed up? JESUS-who was he, and how can he be relevant today? CROSS-what can the death of Jesus mean for us now? ONWARDS-how can I go forward with God in my life? If you've got questions about life and the Christian faith and are looking for answers, then why not make a start! Run in a small group format, each session involves DVD clips, fun exercises, group discussion and time for reflection. Each session lasts about an hour. Start! is a free course. It will run on Sunday afternoons at 5 PM till 6 PM beginning on January 21st, and finishing on February 25th. If you are thinking of being baptised, confirmed, getting married in church, or having your child baptised this would be an excellent course to join. Our venue is the choir vestry at St Peter and St John's Church, the way in is via the door from the car park at the back of church.
