This year at PJ's, Christmas will be a little bit different. We won't be able to have our usual Christmas Fayre with Father Christmas, our toddler group Christmas party, our Christmas Eve nativity service or some of our usual services in church. BUT, it is still Christmas and we still want to bring you all the joy of the season in the most Covid-safe way as possible, so we have come up with some different ways to experience the wonder that is the birth of Jesus Christ.
Welcome to Bethlehem indoor Experience (free, but must be booked in advance)
We are offering your family bubble the opportunity to experience the Christmas story inside our church. Your children will be able to ‘knock at the stable door’, you can make some paper prayer Angels and add them to our wall of angels, you can sit by the crib scene and hear the Christmas story. There will be a carol to listen to and a takeaway surprise for each child to take home. If your child or children would like to come dressed up as someone in the Christmas story, we’d be very happy for them to do so but no pressure! In between families, all areas will be cleaned and disinfected and fresh craft materials are supplied for each family to ensure this is a Covid-safe activity. Please note masks must be worn by all those over the age of 11 years old unless there's a reason that means you can't wear one.
